Third Party Software and Hardware

The following hardware and software is compatible with the Cirrus™ HD-OCT.

Virus Scanning

The Cirrus Version 5.x Software has been tested with McAfee Virus Scan Enterprise (version 8.5.0 i), Kaspersky Anti-Virus (version 7.0.0.125) and Microsoft® Security Essentials (version 1.0.1611.0), but anti-virus software does not come pre-installed. When installing your anti-virus software per manufacturer's recommendations, configure it so it does not scan automatically, as this may interrupt the operation of the Cirrus instrument or your review station.

Operating Systems

The Cirrus Version 5 Software is compatible with Windows XP Service Packs 2 and 3, and with Windows Vista Service Packs 1 and 2. 64-bit operating systems are not supported.

Restriction notes

  1. Device must be CE-Marked for use in EU.
  2. Device must have Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) FCC approvals for use in US.
  3. Device must be powered from USB port only.
  4. Device must be outside the patient environment (at least 1.5 meters away), unless used with an isolation transformer. Note: The power provided by the Cirrus is provided through an isolation transformer satisfying this requirement
  5. Do not use with an extension cord or power strip.
  6. Use unshielded network cables (UTP) only.
  7. Do not share the same wall outlet with the Cirrus HD-OCT.
