- Since 1990, office-based dentist in Munich, Germany
- Growing interest in modern endodontics
- In 1996, he installs an OPMI® PRO dent dental microscope in his office
- Since 1996, he has limited his treatment to endodontics
- Since 1997, several stays in the USA with S. Kim and C. Ruddle
- Since 1997, he has held his own courses on microsurgical endodontics
- In 1998, he replaces OPMI® PRO dent by OPMI® PRO magis
- Founding member of the "Study Group for Microscopy in Dentistry" (Studiengruppe für Mikroskopie in der Zahnheilkunde)
