That was then
Until now, surgeons had to sit in a strained, uncomfortable position at the surgical microscope – poor ergonomics. Integration of the inverter into the beam path increases the height of the microscope. The result: the surgeon had to stretch upwards to look into the microscope. Relaxed viewing with the eyes looking slightly downward was rarely possible.
This is now
Now, with the Invertertube™, ophthalmologists can adopt a healthier and more relaxed posture – and therefore also work more comfortably and therefore more effectively. The inverter is integrated into the tube, considerably reducing the height of the microscope. In addition, the eyepieces are closer to the surgeon, additionally facilitating the upright seated position.
