Carl Zeiss Meditec has expanded the functionality of the ATLAS platform with Software Version 2, which contains important enhancements designed to improve overall clinical value and workflow efficiency. Software Version 2 includes:
1. Maintenance Update. Includes a number of enhancements to the operation of the ATLAS instrument including:
- 50% larger topography maps (on screen and in printouts)
- Improved ability to image irregular corneas such as corneal transplant and keratoconus
- Streamlined software navigation including shortcuts to easily change color scales, maps, and exams
- Compressed (.zip) export files for emailing exams
- Updated electronic User Manual with full explanations of all enhancements
2. PathFinder II Corneal Analysis Software (OPTIONAL). PathFinder II Software instantly provides probabilities for 5 different corneal conditions by comparing topography exams to an extensive clinical database. PathFinder II is an optional licensed feature. However, by upgrading to Software Version 2 you may try PathFinder II risk-free for 30 days. For more information on PathFinder II, please click here.
