Stratus OCT™ – Third Party Hardware and Software
The following third party hardware and software has been approved for use with the Stratus OCT.
  • Printers
    - HP 6980 A (For use in region A / North American countries)
    - HP 6980 B (For use in region B / European countries)
    - HP 6988 (For use globally, USB and Network Configurations)
    - Brother HL-2700CN network printer (For use globally, network connection only). Restrictions: 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8
  • Network attached storage (NAS) device
    Restrictions: 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8. Also, the device must comply with any local agency requirements.
  • Network Switches
    - Interface speed: 10/100/1000 Mb/s
    - Interface connectors: RJ-45
    - Cable detection: MDI/MDI-X (automatic straight-through or crossover cable detection)
    Supported standards: IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3ab, and 802.3x
    - Restrictions: 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8.
  • USB hub
    - Restrictions: 1, 2, & 3
  • USB (key type) storage device
    - Restrictions: 1, 2, & 3
  • Hardware restrictions
    1. Device must have CE approvals.
    2. Device must have FCC approvals.
    3. Device must be powered from USB port only.
    4. Device must be outside the patient environment (at least 1.5 meters away).
    5. The OCT-3000’s isolation transformer must not power device.
    6. Do not use with an extension cord or power strip.
    7. Use unshielded network cables (UTP) only.
    8. Do not share the same wall outlet with the OCT-3000.
Software
  • Anti-virus software: Stratus 5.0 software is compatible with Norton AntiVirus 2006 (Instrument with Windows 2000), Norton AntiVirus 2007 (Review), McAfee VirusScan 8.0, VirusScan Plus 2007 (Instrument and Review), Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 and 7.0 (Instrument and Review) and G DATA AntiVirus 2007 and 2008.
