Stratus OCT™ Daylight Saving Time Adjustment
Starting in the spring of 2007, daylight saving time (DST) start and end dates for the United States will transition to comply with the Energy Policy Act of 2005. DST dates in the United States will start three weeks earlier (2:00 A.M. on the second Sunday in March) and will end one week later (2:00 A.M. on the first Sunday in November).

Microsoft has not provided an easy patch for Windows 2000 users to automatically adjust the time on these new dates. In order to ensure that your Stratus OCT scans contain the correct date and time, you must manually adjust the time when DST begins and ends. Please follow the easy instructions below.

1. Exit the Stratus application.
2. In Windows 2000 taskbar, double click the clock located on the right most section of the taskbar. This brings up the Date/Time Properties Dialog Box.
3. Go to the Time Zone tab and UNCHECK the "Automatically adjust clock for daylight saving changes" option. Click Apply, then OK.
4. On the day the DST begins, change the time of your system to the correct time based on the date shown in the chart below. Don't forget to reset it back in November.
