Carl Zeiss undertakes to set up an ophthalmology training center in each of five regions of the world within the next five years. Together with Dr. Gullapalli N. Rao, the President of the IAPB (International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness), Dr. Michael Kaschke, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Carl Zeiss Meditec AG, recently opened the first ophthalmology training center in Indonesia.
