VISULAS YAG III Combi More information
A product you can trust its capabilities will expand with your practice: perform retinal, cataract, and glaucoma therapy in one system. The VISULAS YAG III Combi is the optimal system for photocoagulation, post-cataract treatments, laser trabeculoplasty, and combined iridotomy. The push of a button is all you need to switch between two laser systems.

Fully Integrated
It is the only system that fully integrates photocoagulation and photodisruption within the slit lamp. Seamless integration was the objective, not an afterthought. Two quality technologies united through the unparalleled optical clarity of a ZEISS slit lamp. Yet, both systems can be used as independent units for maximum versatility and growth with your practice. For example, the VISULAS 532s can be hand carried into the operating room or satellite office, while the YAG remains in your office.

ZEISS Super-Gaussian beam profile

Example of multi-mode beam profile
Premium Photodisruption (YAG III) Features:
Over twenty years of disruption legacy has resulted in arguably the gold standard in photodisruption. The highlights of the YAG III include: a high pulse frequency of 2.5 Hz for faster procedures, 4-point aiming beam for perfect targeting and astigmatism detection, anterior and posterior focus shift, finely-tuned energy dosage, and perhaps most importantly the ZEISS Super-Gaussian mode. The Super-Gaussian mode is a highly accurate beam profile that results in disruption (i.e. optical breakdown) in as little as 2.5 mJ in air. The benefit to the doctor and patient is that a minimum amount of laser energy is needed to guarantee treatment.

Premium Photocoagulation (532s) Features
The high-visibility touchscreen control panel provides intuitive navigation and preset definitions. Years of research went behind the development of the control panel to ensure exclusive clarity and visibility, reduced reflections, intuitive one-handed control of all parameters, and the ability to be controlled in a sterile condition. The system incorporates the popular electronic micromanipulator for coaxial illumination & laser guidance. It is a parfocal system with spots ranging from 50 to 1000 μm, and the energy density at the cornea is carefully managed with the ParFocus design. Because each laser can be operated independently, you could setup a second office with a diagnostic slit lamp and universal VISULINK 532/U slit lamp adapter for both Carl Zeiss and Haag-Streit.
